DaMossMan Fish Guru Piranha Bait Posts: 2511 Kudos: 2117 Votes: 359 Registered: 16-Nov-2003 | Just wanted to share my simple 10 gal. More Javas going in tied to river rocks and driftwood pieces. The algae buildup was bad on the right side before the weekend. The heater was completely covered. Nitrates are 7. It's all Java Fern and Pennywort except for a piece of Egeria Densa. The Otos love to lie on the Java, and hide in it often. The Pennywort grew from a very small bit I had left in my 29. This tank was not meant to be planted at all, kinda just happened It's neat and a curse taking pics with a digital, cause I noticed I should have wiped the cover off. There are platy and guppy fry, and 3 Otos. I'm very lucky to have any fry survive in my hard alkaline well water so any are a blessing Thanks for listening to me blab.. Hope you enjoy Here's the links... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v427/DaFishMan/FryTank01.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v427/DaFishMan/FryTank02.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v427/DaFishMan/FryTank03.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v427/DaFishMan/OtoTrio.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v427/DaFishMan/PlatyGuppyFry.jpg [span class="edited"][Edited by DaFishMan 2004-09-01 23:03][/span] The Amazon Nut... |
