Imrandy 38 Gallon | |
ImRandy85 Enthusiast Bleeding Blue Posts: 254 Kudos: 137 Votes: 75 Registered: 19-Dec-2006 | Just gonna link up some pictures of my new 38 gallon setup. I have a bigger piece of driftwood soaking right now that I will eventually add to this tank. I know I need some taller plants in the back but I haven't seen any that I really like yet. I also need a background, any suggestions there? Some attempted pics of the fishies(they're pretty blurry) http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e237/imrandy85/38%20gallon/platy5neons3-9-07.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e237/imrandy85/38%20gallon/2platy5neons3-9-07.jpg Full tank shot: http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e237/imrandy85/38%20gallon/fulltank3-15-07.jpg Sponge filter I made to try and seed the tank from my 10g: http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e237/imrandy85/38%20gallon/spongefilter.jpg Every inhabitant minus my hitchiking snail: http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e237/imrandy85/38%20gallon/everyone3-15-07.jpg |

Also I don't think a large piece of drifwood would go with your existing decor. You have a building & a large palm tree......... the only other wood that would go with that scene would be something that looked like fallen tree about the size of the palm tree. For a background, if you could find one with a beach scene, I think that would match perfectly. But it would be too hard to find probably. You may be forced to go with just a colored background. In that case a light blue would look good, cause it would look just like the sky in the background. I'm just a beginner too, so this is just my own personal opinion. |
