Hopefully this link will work for everyone...

http://photobucket.com/albums/v689/neurotica1983/

There are some pictures of my new Panda Cories from last night (their first night in the tank).

Also, the first picture is of one of my Cherry Barbs. Apparently he got a little jealous last night because he kept swimming infront of the camera while I was taking pictures of the Pandas. So, that's Picaboo.

Enjoy!

Cool! Great pics. I am giving mine a couple of days to adjust before I take some pics of mine (I got mine yesterday too!)

How many have you got, looks like 10 of them in one pic. Should be heaps of fun. I got 5 - which was all they had, and at $15 a pop, all I could afford (actually more than...)

Aww, cute Pandas ....

See that photo of yours when you shot them swimming up the sides looking at their reflections? They were saying to themsleves "Hey, where'd these other four guys come from? Let's jion them and play!"

That picture of yours is wonderful proof of the statement I've been making for nearly two years about Pandas - they are among the most avowedly social of Corys. If you EVER get chance to add more playmates for them, do so, even if you have to rob a bank to do so (well, not quite, but you know what I mean!).

Those pics remind me of the way Mata Hari and the gang looked when I first bought them. Lovely nostalgic moment.

You are going to have a LOt of fun with those guys!

By the way, what are the bright pink bits in amongst that blue gravel? And is that gravel really blue?

Thanks everyone.

Gromit, I have 6 of them. In the one picture you can see their reflections which is why it looks like there is 10 or so of them. (I thought it made a great picture though.)

Wow, $15 a pop?! And to think, I was thinking that my price of $7 a pop was high... Wow... You're one dedicated Panda owner.

Cali, the bits of "pink" are actually red stones. The majority of the stones are black, and there are red and blue mixed in. Now, from those pictures, I'll admit, it looks a little cheesy. But in all honesty, it looks very cool when you're actually looking at the tank. The red stones really bring out the color of my two Cherry Barbs who are in the tank. (Plus the semi-red backends of the Harlies.) The blue stones go with the background I have for the tank. At the very top of the background there is blue behind the tops of the plants. So, even though the colors look a little funny from those pictures, it actually looks really good in real life. (Plus, I lightened those pics a little so that the Pandas would stand out a bit. So, that kind of altered the colors of the stones.)

I definitely hope to be adding more pictures to my gallery soon. They are so playful and I just love to sit and watch them!

Lovely pictures of your Panda's.
I'm not so lucky with them, especially in summer when the tank water is more than 32 degrece. ]:|

Been there Jason, but thankfully here in the UK 32°C counts as a record heatwave ... I'd HATE to have to try and keep Pandas in a country where it hit 32°C without fail EVERY summer ... espceially if I couldn't afford a chiller ...

Still, by way of consolation Jason, you're in a perfect place to keep Chocolate Gouramis and other sauna lovers

For a smaller tank 'fishy' ice cubes to cool it down... As a special treat I often throw some frozen bloodworms in when I make them - the fish love it!

Just make sure you don't put one in a friends drink

It's just too hot here in Malta. This summer i'll be trying to buy a portable a/c & hopefully i'll be able to hold the temperature down a bit.

Yes, I am worried about summers here in Ohio. (Thrill state, USA.)

Most summers it doesn't get too hot that I think it would be too much of a problem. However, there is the occational rare summer that can get to 90-100 degrees (F) for a few days in July. However, I have my own AC in my room (which I run in the evenings and through the night) so I am hoping I can keep the temperature in my room bareable for the Pandas.
