Hi all,

I don't think kissing gouramis have the "feeler" pelvic fins. I'd say you have a giant gourami. Nice looking one at that.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

Thanks sirbooks I really wanted it to be a giant, coz i bought it as a giant as i love it as a giant
Yes, he's beautiful. I took the picture just after some gravel vacuum (sand vacuum in fact) and it is not very clear at all. Will post some better ones once i get some chance.

Thanks again.

And I've just done some image search for the kissing gouramis and they do lack the feelers. That also proves one of my perceptions ,i.e. all gouramis have feelers, wrong

I think that it is just a pale color morph of the giant gourami. It's really beautiful.

Iam sure you got an Juvenile Giant Gourami
The kissing gouramis are little more thinner in body shape and their eyes are different aswell...well that what i think

I know human beings and fish can co-exist peacefully.
