Even though I'm still learning how to use it the photo quality is so much better than my old Fuji. One thing I learned from a fish photographer is not to place your finger over the flash but tape a small piece of tissue. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

IME when photographing fish - or any wildlife - including people! - and you want to take it as a kind of portrait, make sure the focus locks onto the eyes of your subject. There should be a setting on the camera to make it so that the camera locks onto the center focus point in the viewfinder. Then all you need do is point the center sensor at the subjects eyes, press the shutter halfway down to lock the focus, recompose the image to your liking and fire away. Just FWIW anyway Nice green fire tetras by the way Their color certainly does come alive in a well maintained aquarium! |

He finally found one and I saw him chilling on it. http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j73/underOATH8711/MollyWaffer3.jpg http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j73/underOATH8711/NollyWaffer2.jpg http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j73/underOATH8711/MollyWaffer1.jpg |
