That would be the easiest way to make suggestions for now. Some nice red plants in there would be good for some contrast. |

Cup_of_Lifenoodles thanks dude.. there so cool.. i stuffed up their names though.. i thought the gold one was female and the zebra was male.. so i called the gold angel Blonie and the zebra cruza(friend picked that name after her dog lol).. but when they had their first spawn they where the opposite to what i thought.. so i left the name r0b3y |

Stormy Big Fish Posts: 357 Kudos: 606 Votes: 81 Registered: 13-Mar-2004 | Red plant would be easy... dwarf lily. They are a lovely shade, and they are very easy to grow. Also, you can get crypts in red and green varieties. If your lighting is so low I am surprised your cabomba is growing so wonderfully for you. The tank and angels are both lovely though. Of course, I may be a little biased when it comes to angels though. |

First of all, take your heater, and lay it flat down, and place in in the right corner behind all that stuff so it is hidden. Second, it looks like your powerhead is right in the front of the tank. Perhaps you could add some cabomba on either side of it, so when the cabomba is tall and bushy, it will hide and enclose the powerhead. Other than that, your tank is gorgeous!! You could easily add a red dwarf lotus (lily) plant. They grow easily and are a cinch to keep alive. They come as a little brown bulb, and if you get a good one that has roots on it, plant it gently in the gravel and then sweep the gravel up around the roots, but do not cover the top of the bulb entirely or it will rot. I have pics of my red lotus if you would like to see what a nice bushy one looks like before you decide. Let me know and if you want I can post a pic for you. Your angels are lovely. Do you know which is the male and which is the female? Come Play Yahtzee With Me! http://games.atari.com Http://www.myleague.com/yahtgames |

r0b3y Enthusiast Posts: 261 Kudos: 262 Votes: 41 Registered: 07-Nov-2004 | hey sneaky_pete.. i have some small cabomba that i replanted around the powerhead.. i just gotta wait till it grows.. as i said before the cabomba grows crazy in my tank so i should have it coverd up with cabomba .. could u post or pm some pictures of the lilies.. thx with the angles the zebra is the female and the gold angel is the male!! i never really planned to get the angels but a customer sold them to my work.. they had apparently been in a 2ft and their fins whee pretty destroyed.. i watched them over the next week and they seemed not to leave each other side.. so i brought the pair for $30 .. and a week later we had eggs!! no success with the babies yet but we are up to spawn number 5.. i'm confident on this one.. i've got everything ready to raise them r0b3y |
