Thanks everyone, and Countryfish, for your information i really dont do anything special. My Ph stays at a steady 7.4(and has been for months). My water temp is exactly 80F, and my light is just a standard All Glass Aquariums 40w bulb. They breed about every two or three weeks. Most of the eggs get munched though. About the first week or so i can see her getting fat, then a week or two later she and the male both get very aggressive, and when that happens i know that it will be within a few days. Maybe you dont have a "breeding Pair". My male and female never ever leave each others side. They are lovers till the end it seems. They are both about a year old also.
