I let my 11yr old daughter re-do my 20g. She has a pair of pearl gouramis that I showed photos of in another thread and a small group of glowlights.

She did all the aquascaping. I'm not overly fond of the blue background but I wanted to leave everything up to her.

We're having a bit of trouble with the gouramis digging up the anacharis so we may just leave it as a floating plant.

I always thought that anacharis was interesting as a floating plant.
Tell your daughter that she did a great job on the tank! I like the blue background(even if you don't,) and it should stay.

I understand your reticence aq]bout the blue background. But from the photo it looks lovely with the green of the plants. And if that gourami is a yellowy colour it is a really nice contrast to blue.

She has done a super fab job. Top stuff!

Tell her she gets a wish-ga decor merit award.
