This is the first time they've flowered like this...what ends up happening with these growths? Are they seed-producing? Should I harvest them out of the tank? Do your fish eat them? What will happen is that the "blossom" will desintirate until only a core is left. The stem on which the blossom sits will stay for quite a while. I usually trim it off, close to the rhizome. I am a dir brain. That is why I have an african cichlid tank with rocks no plants. I am good at plants on terra firma but not so much with the aqua ones. ~~~ My fish blow kisses at me all day long ~~~ |
