Anything in the tank is subject to destruction if they can get to it. I've had a lot of problems with heaters in the tank. Sam has grown incredibly (4-5 inches in 2-3 months) since I put him in that tank. I've always been curious about the differences in his and thor's bodies. Sam is much more deep-bodied than thor is and he also has a much larger dorsal fin. I don't know if this is a difference in gender or not, but it's interesting to see. They are incredible fish and surprisingly personable. I hope to be able to keep them to their mature size and maybe one day have a complete school, providing I can build something proper for them. |

Most of the time they are not picky about what they eat. Right now I'm researching what else I can feed them. The volume of pellets and wafers that they eat is beginning to get expensive. They are definitely pigs and can eat an impressive amount of food! |
