My Planted tank | |
the_goldie Hobbyist Posts: 70 Kudos: 28 Votes: 1 Registered: 01-Jul-2002 | I started a planted tank back on the 20th July and have been taking new photos almost every week. The plants are starting to grow new leaves and the older leaves have been pruned allowing for new growth, my Rotala Indica was grown emmersed and is now slowly taking new shape and still needs some pruning to remove the old leaves. I have changed the hardscape around a few times as I try to settle on a layout which I like and trying new ideas after reading various threads and ideas. I recently changed it to a concave style high at the ends and lower in the middle. I also made the rocks curve around a bit more instead of being in a straight line, so now there is quite a bit of foreground room which hopefully my E.Tennullus will start to grow into. My photos are in my webshots album here http://community.webshots.com/user/cambo05 http://community.webshots.com/user/cambo05 Any hints/ideas/comments on the layout or plants appreciated. I do have another thread running in the planted section regarding my tank setup. Hopefully in another month or so the Rotala Indica, Amazon Sword and E.Tennullus have filled the space in a bit more, then I might consider some more plants. |
