I am so jealous...I haven't been able to find any...I hear that are great fish, and pretty easy to mate.

Hey,
The one keyhole is chasing the other one around a lot lately.i belive that he tries to make it his territory. How do you see the diff from a he/she?
The one on the pictures is that a male?
Manborg i also had problems to find the keyholes, they are not that easy to find. But luckily i found one lfs that had 2 keyholes left so i bought them for 12us$...good price

$12 each? or for both. Either way, I would have done the same as you and scooped 'em right up.

The key to knowing their gender is in the fins. The males will be pointy and long. Do you have a picture of the two of them?

How big is your tank? Is there enough room and places to hide if they are both males? My kribs did that for a while until their territory was staked out. Then for the most part they were pretty well behaved with each other.

My tank is a 75g.
I have caves and rocks, plants so they can hide.
I also have a krib..so far they are doing great.
Hopefully the krib i got is a nice quiet type
I have heard so many words about the krib killing lot of fish.I will try to take a picture of my keyholes together so you can see if its males that i got.
I bought the keyholes for 12us$..for both manborg.
