However it isn't Zoanthus socialis because they're green. I suspect it IS a Zoanthid though. Look up the Genus Zoanthus on Google, or take a look a ReefCentral.com and see if they have a feature on Zoanthids. Oh, and I LOVE that side on shot of your Narrow Lined Puffer. He's a beauty! Excellent shot! |

One of the individuals snagged and ingested a bloodworm that drifted too close during feeding, that was what made me think they were anemones. There is just so much to learn! Currently I have a 2x96W PC light fixture over the tank with one actinic and one 10000K bulb. I'm hoping this is sufficient for the life that came in with the rock, such as those zoanthids. Mine seem to be doing well in the SW, their colors have brightened up some and they're generally more active. I saw another narrow lined puffer yesterday and he was only five dollars! I paid 30 for the other guy...needless to say the little guy followed me home. Here are some pictures! Second Narrow Puff Sorry this one is a little blurry, but it really shows his bright colors Both of them together |

Mushroom Also, I was wondering if someone could identify this coral for me, I didn't think it was alive originally, but it's starting to grow! Coral And I found this urchin a couple days ago, anything special I need to do to keep it alive and healthy? Urchin Last edited by puffer_archer at 31-May-2005 17:05 |
