EI fertilization routine on the 23g. The 42g gets micros only every couple of weeks. Fish and plant list in my profile. All comments welcome! Thanks for looking. upikabu Fish Addict Posts: 591 Kudos: 393 Votes: 44 Registered: 08-Jun-2005 | Thanks guys! The 42g is my hodge-podge, low-maintenance (read: water change every few months) tank. The main emphasis is packing it with weeds (Wisteria, Elodea). I'm thinking of changing the Elodea (left side) with Water Sprite in the near future since I'd like to use Flourish Excel to get rid of some BBA on the H. corymbosa, but I've found that Elodea is extremely sensitive to Excel, even at low dosages. The 23g is the one I spend more time on in terms of fertilization routine (EI), pruning, water change, etc. Honestly I couldn't have done it without all the help from people here (directly or indirectly through their posts). So a big thanks is in order! Please keep the comments coming (including negative ones!). Where are all the planted tank people? Hmm, maybe I should have this moved to the Planted Aquaria section. -P |

The broad-leaved one on the left is Hygrophila Corymbosa (Blue Stricta). The smaller-leaved ones in the middle are Hygrophila Polysperma (green) and Ludwigia Repens (reddish). -P |

The ones in the month 2 pic of the 23g is Elodea (Anacharis). They've been replaced with Aponogeton Crispus (in month 4 pics). Cheers -P |
