Just asking because in the first pic that's what they reminded me of. I've never heard of a butterfly betta, do you know the scientific name? Very interesting looking ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

angeleel Fish Addict Posts: 561 Kudos: 472 Votes: 61 Registered: 08-Feb-2005 | We are thinking now that they are M/F, they don't fight at all and they have slight diffrences in between each other in size finnage etc.. I don't know to much about bettas in fact this is only my second one. First one died when I was 6 I read that they are butterfly bettas if they have patterns that are the same on both sides of the fins. Here I don't explain to well so I'll try and find a page..... http://home.hiwaay.net/~keiper/bettastory.htm In there it mentions it. Hope this helps. I love my O's there like puppys, they are getting so big I can't wait. Angel Eel Last edited by angeleel at 12-May-2005 15:47 |

I like them a lot and debated a lot about getting one for my new 75g before deciding on more of a community cichlid tank. Someday though Do you have names for them? That betta looks so interesting, post more pics when you can ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

angeleel Fish Addict Posts: 561 Kudos: 472 Votes: 61 Registered: 08-Feb-2005 | The names are kinda silly, The larger of the two with mostly black is.....Black cotton. The one with more orange and slightly smaller is Chaz. As for pics ...they will be soon =p Angel Eel Last edited by angeleel at 13-May-2005 13:25 |
