yeah so it's got Gravel Plants (Fake) it's only a 20 watt bulb so enough lighting to support live plants was something I was worried about so I went with fake ones well here are the pics let me know what you think about the setup http://www.photodump.com/direct/antman08015/IMAG0026.jpg http://www.photodump.com/direct/antman08015/IMAG0027.jpg and http://www.photodump.com/direct/antman08015/IMAG0001.jpg and http://www.photodump.com/direct/antman08015/IMAG0002.jpg last one http://www.photodump.com/direct/antman08015/IMAG0007.jpg

It looks good. If you wanted to make a natural look, you could find some (real) rocks and make some sort of rock structures in there.

Note: From what i can see it gets lots of light from the window (yes, no?) This may cause lots of algae growth. When you are coming up with a stock list, you might want some algae eating fish. (Just a thought)

Nice Job!

I would definitely add some type of structure to the tank as AP suggested such as rocks or driftwood. You might also consider covering the back glass in some manner. You can put some darker craft paper over it, paint it or purchase one of the backgrounds available from your LFS. This will help to cover your filters, power cords, etc. Just makes a tank look better.

yeah it gets a good amount of light from the window but I also had my blinds open to let some light in I could close them if needed and yeah I plan on getting some type of drift wood or a rock or something this was a quick set up so I can get it cycled

I must say you have a really nice setup. But yeah, I agree with Old Timer about the background. I got a colored background that complements with my plants, or you can just get a black one. You could be creative and make one your own.
