Is this your larger tank? How do the discus get along with the other tank mates. I want a pair so bad. Am afraid I will have problems in my 55 Gallon. He sure is pretty!

Yes, this is my 75 gallon tank. The discus get along great with the other tanks mates. At first some of the fish spooked them, (namely my bala sharks and the pearl gouramis for some reason), but after a few days, and after I added a second Discus, both settled in very nicely.
They have laid 3 clutches of eggs, once 3 days after I added the second discus (was a female heh), the second time after a major tank overhaul including planting, moving rocks around, and a 50% water change, and the third time only 6 hours after completely removing and rotating my large peice of DW and relocating plants.
Discus do not seem so hard as people say. They seem quite happy in my tank, and have great fun harrassing the Bristlenose Pleco when hes out (they seem to go up to him and "sniff" him, at which he puts all his spines out and this makes them even more "sniffy" at him ).
Tell me about your 55g, what fish are in it, what filters are on it, water conditions on ph and hardness espescially, and if it is planted or no, and how much. If you have a picture that would be great as well.
