Ok after breezing thru Calilasseia's essay and keithgh's topic i've decided to try to take some photos of my new shellies.

i'm using a olympus M-mini digital, macro mode with ISO200 and no tripod (tank is at ground level )

they are still abit grainy and blurred. any tips for sharpening the pics?

I've given up trying to take pics of my multis... they just dont stop moving!

your pics look slightly overexposed to me. i would suggest a slightly faster speed like iso400. also, if your camera has a setting for white balance, you should set it for your tank before you start taking pics in there.

I don't have advice for you on pics unfortunately but any post about shellies draws my attention

I'm just curious, are those stapps?

Very nice, I'd never heard of black occies before. Now you'll have to share more pics

All my shellies I had to order online. Stapps had been a favorite of mind for a very long time and I finally got mine earlier this month

I am the same as Inkling. A fan but don't have any myself.

Great shots.
