Well today i went to the LFS and picked up three play mates for my RBP. they are slightly smaller than him but they are shoaling fine. Heres some pics of the newbies................

Heres a pic of one i am concerened about. He has a bit of a shredded dorsal fin. He was like this before i bought him. I'm hoping that it's not one of the ones that i bought who did the damage

And finally heres a full tank shot. I bought a new black background today and i think the tank looks alot less BLUE!! and alot better. The piranhas red bellies show up really well against it.

The picture of the little guy you're worried about is a Pacu, not a piranha, I'm almost 100% sure, although the picture quality isn't 100%, suffice to say. :%) Right, the Pacu you SHOULD be worried about, seeing as how they get massive. An adult Pacu is a number of times larger than an adult Piranha, and unlike their smaller cousins cannot be kept in most tanks because of their massive sizes...

Of course, I could be wrong, the pic is a bit fuzzy.:%)

Do pacus eat meat? because this little dude eats shrimp and chicken breast.....i hope he isn't a pacu...or esle i've bought 3 of em

Nope you were right. I bought 3 pacus...doh! i'm taking them back to the shop tomoz and getting my money back. Then i'll have to try and find some other piranhas from somewhere else:#(:#(:#(
