Pic of Breeding Angels | |
dmarkham0117 Hobbyist Posts: 68 Kudos: 18 Votes: 1 Registered: 12-Sep-2006 | I finally caught my Angels breeding...just thought I'd share if anyone hasn't seen it before. The male is the wild colored Silver/black stripes and the female is the Golden or Sunset angel. She is laying her eggs on a piece of slate. This pair is in a community tank and I don't usually move the eggs so they don't last much longer than a few days after hatching, but they are good breeders and lay eggs about every 11-14 days. KU5626...the tank is a 42 gallon. I just upgraded the lighting from 132W of 6700K to 114W of 6700K + another 96w of 5500K. With 210w now I am getting a lot of "pearling"! I'll post some new pics soon. |
