Looking for pics of aquascaped 29 or 30 gallon tanks(with stands would be nice, but not neccesary). My dad will be setting one up in a few months, and he could use some ideas. It will probably be all fake plants, etc. Also some stocking suggestions(he likes a diverse community with as many different groups as possible)would be great. Thanks all!

I have one of each. My 29g is a mixed community, the 30g has small cichlids.

Personally I'd go with a 30g. Obviously only a 1g difference in volume, but the 30g is 6" longer (and a bit shorter) so it has a larger footprint than a 29g.

That's a nice layout though, Moondog. He's probably getting a 'Wal-Mart wonder kit'; so it will be a 29 gallon Theresa. Thanks for the replies so far!
