bensaf Fish Master Posts: 1978 Kudos: 1315 Registered: 08-Apr-2004 | Managed to get another couple of decent shots. My batting average now gone up to 6 for 9,782 ] First one up one of my False SAE. Luckily nobodies told them they're false so they happily munch on algae around the clock bensaf attached this image: [img]http://www.fishprofiles.net/attachments/404650.jpg"] Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability. |

Very regal manner, totally ignores every other fish in tank except feeding time when she gets annoyed at the "peasants" for snatching her food ! bensaf attached this image: [img]http://www.fishprofiles.net/attachments/404658.jpg"] Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability. |

I've got a school of 9 and they're quite a sight with their constant schooling. THE perfect schooling fish. bensaf attached this image: [img]http://www.fishprofiles.net/attachments/404660.jpg"] Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability. |

littlemousling Conchiform Posts: 5230 Registered: 23-Aug-2003 | Mango - are you sure? Often you can't tell they're doing their job because you simply never see the types of algae they eat! They won't put a dent in flat green or brown stuff (otos and BNs are better for that) but if you've never had problems with BBA or hair algae, he should get the credit. Just for comparison's sake - with my original group, I never saw those problems but didn't really think it was them (however, I loved having them around because they're SO fun and active in groups). After I gave them away, I started seeing some BBA and a lot of hair algae, so I replaced them and it's disappeared. Not a coincidence, methinks! Bensaf - nice fish. Big fan of the Rummynoses especially. -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |
