Despite the fact that the Hikari wafers are meant for the Otocinclus ... I found out by checking the ingredients list that Hikari Wafers contain, as well as some spirulina, helpings of Krill. Well if you want your fishes to go utterly nuts over your food, drop in something containing Krill and ... hey presto, feeding frenzy time. Mind you, I've recently acquired some NutraFin algae tablets, and the Corys play 'push hockey' with those as well, even though they're 30% spirulina by weight. Go figure? Oh, and a question - what species of Botia is your loach? Only it looks rather a lot like the new 'Myanmar Loach' that was introduced to the hobby in 2003 and immediately took UK loach fans by storm. Got a scientific name for it? Then I can check how big it grows on the Loaches website ... and see if they're small enough for my other aquarium, where they should enjoy a good snail snack. |

I believe they get around 4 inches. I have 4 in my 55g...so funny to watch. One of them must be female because she is so fat! Great pictures! /:' |
