Here are some shots I just took of some plants:

[1] Amazon Swords - pertinent to Bensaf's thread in Planted Aquaria about how big they grow ... mine are only 8 to 10 inches tall, but they have a LOT of leaves!

Amazon Swords

[2] Bacopa - first shot of my new specimens of bacopa, though I have yet to determine what species it is because the specimens are still young and have some growing to do!

Bacopa Shot 1

[3] Bacopa - second shot of the above.

Bacopa Shot 2

Enjoy!

we have that 2nd plant growing around here, it isnt a full water plant, more of a bog plant, durring sometimes of the year they are under water, but most of the time, its just in EXTREMLY wet conditions, but i have collected ...probly hundreds of plants and had them in an aquarium, they worked out very nice, but, eventualy, becasue of my lack of light they strted truning yellowy and i had to start picking them out, after a while, i just tossed the others out, but i like them becasue they are ground plants or vertical plants, it crowls on the floor, alot of the time, crossing streams, it can be a very rewarding plant givin the right conditions

Youre having better luck with bacopa than me, mine got eaten. On the amazon sword issue , I think the growth depends on how you treat them. If you pinch off old leaves with algae on , they tend to grow tall, almost 2 feet or so, but in tanks that are shallower with fish like ottos doing a good job of keeping the leaves clear, and not pruning them they tend to stay smaller and bushier. I have about 12 of them, and they all grow at differeent rates in the different tanks, probably dependant on oxygenation, co2, nutrients , water depth, substrate depth, and the presence of algae on the leaves, and if you move them around much.
