Since i took the pics i have bought another plantt and some java moss for the front. I will post a more recent pic when i find my camera O and my mum is stopping at pets at home and buying me a black background. So if theres anything you think i could do. Or if you totally hate it just say Fish_Can_Fly attached this image: |

Untitled No. 4 Big Fish Posts: 488 Kudos: 452 Votes: 33 Registered: 07-Nov-2004 | I think that the general layout is really good, but it looks as if the substrate, even at the back, is not deep enough for the plants. Maybe it only looks so in the pictures? I also think that the wood would look great with anubias and/or java ferns on it. About the lights, is this tank always so blue and dark or, again, is it just like that in the pictures? I don't think those lights will do a lot for your plants' growth, and on top of that, none of the plants nice green colour will come out with this light. This light would be perfect for a tank with dramatic rock formation, but I think that for a planted tank it would look nicer with something brighter. Also, what fish are going into that tank? |

~Mista Psycho~ Hobbyist Posts: 125 Kudos: 84 Votes: 12 Registered: 13-Mar-2005 | The tank is alot brighter than it looks in that pic. Although it is very blue. I dunno i've just always liked blue lights. I thought about getting some java fern too. The fish that are going in there are piranhas. It's sort of a temp tank for them untill i set up the 200g. |
