That was not easy to get some good pics of them since their body shines a lot.
I think i took 100 pics:wallbash: and these was the best pictures i got of them.

I have removed most of my real plants since they where not doing great.
Havent seen the silver dollars eating the other plants yet though..like the onion plants and anubias i have in the tank.

silver dollars are my favorite fish, but its a shame most people don't keep them, they are really fun and beautiful.

what size tank are urs in? mine are in a 55.

i've seen people keep them happily in as little as 30 gallon tanks, but i don't think this is very good.

They are in a 75G tank for the moment.

They are really funny when they steal some wafers and try to eat it
Here are some pics of them eating wafers.
Here is one going for it..the loach has a waffer but not for long though.

And here he has the waffer!

..then he looses it...:dance: ..

And then he catches it again!

Uhhmm..now they both have waffers:frantic:

and the third Silver dollar..ofcourse he also has a waffer..and it's a big piece aswell.

Very funny watching them eating waffers..:yes:

how big are ur silvers? all of mine are an inch or two smaller then what i was told they'd get and they have been in a 55 gallon tank for a long time. i'm very sure they AREN'T stunted.........

also put up a pick of ur whole tank, it looks very nice from what i can see of it so far.

Nice pics
I was out fishing today and bought 2 silver dollars,PS did warned me about the growth(Ive a 40gal)they are the size of a quarter right now.How fast do they grow? I do have a 60+ custom tank to set up when needed too.
Im very amused at watching them. I also bought 2 fish I cant ID, transparent white big black eyes that glow blue under the light.. still hoping to find answers..

again nice tank
