I thought I would share some pics of a few of my Victoria Basin cichlids

The first one is one of my Mpibi lutea
http://safhl.com/albums/MyFishPictures/dominant_lutea.jpg

One of my favorite fish Haplochromis sp. "Kenya Gold"
http://safhl.com/albums/MyFishPictures/kenya.jpg

Here are a couple of Pundamilia

First is Pundamilia igneopinnis. Kind of dark pic , but you can see how black the fish gets and the wonderful finnage

A Pundamilia nyereri "Igombe Island"
http://safhl.com/albums/MyFishPictures/000_1235.sized.jpg

This is a fish from Lake Ejagham in Cameroon. Kind of neat fish..Coptodon cf. deckerti

Hope you enjoy the pics as much as I enjoy the fish

Gorgeous fish and pictures! The colors are wonderful. I bet they're even nicer in real life.

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

It's unforunate more people don't keep Victorians. They are a beautiful group of fish and with the plight of the lake itself it is a very important that we do our best to maintain the species as pure as possible. I have more Vics but unfortunetly the pics are not that good

And that's EXACTLY why I think it's such a shame that L. Victoria is being ecologically devestated--those fish are nothing short of breathtaking.
