Tank Pictures....Includes 55G Redo | |

Here is a new picture: I understand that the blue filter kills the tank. I am just waiting on the hygro and rotala to cover it up...hopefully it won't take them too long to grow taller. I'll try to get a picture later without the intake...so it will be better. And the big wood sticks out a little. The Hygro "Ceylon" should grow around the "arm" and I plan to get more java ferns and maybe some Christmas moss for the other part. Plans are in place. Some of the fish that live in the 55g: male Bolivian 1 of 2 smaller angels big angel...she's a little stressed in this picture...doesn't like having her picture taken she's about 6-7 inches tall now yoyo loach 29g: 10g: silly cories love their algae wafer |

Filtration is big anyways. If you have a heavily planted tank that is understocked, I think you can get away with less filtration. I personally keep my tanks at the stocking max so I over filtrate. I don't like alot of surface agitation or current because it blows my plants all over the place. Right now on the 55g I have an Aquaclear 70 and a Rena XP3. So I really have to keep them turned down so they don't send my fish into a whirlpool. The AC will be moving to a 38g whenever I get around to setting it up. It has a pretty strong current, but its manageable. Oh and that's one of four of my yoyos. They are all about 4 inches...I think one may be around 3.5 inches. And one is very fat...lol. I think she's a girl. They are very entertaining fish. Thanks for the comment! |

Very elegant My angel is a little odd, mixed parenting. Gold on one side and marble on the other. It's almost like having two different fish. I will try to post a pic soon. I aspire to have plants like that, but I'm going to have to upgrade my lighting. (and curb the barbs' appetites) How do you clean the Eco-Complete? - Meow - |
