TigerAngel Fish Addict Posts: 522 Registered: 22-Feb-2004 | As I was cleaning his tank tonight, this darling fish just bit the head off a little female molly that wasn't in the best of health. And they were getting on so well. I know it was natural for the Red Jewel to do this as the other fish was poorly, but it was gruesome. I no longer have the room for a hospital tank, and the little girl showed no signs of a sickness. Just a little runt of the pack. I just hope she didn't suffer. Unfortunately I can not relocate the cichlid either, as he does not get on with my other fish, and the Mollys and him where getting on great. I have been watching him closely since, and it looks like he has settled down. Not chasing and fishys now. |
