Hello all. Just givin it a shot. Not very good with computers. Anyhow if it works its just random shots of some fish of mine over the past few months. How do I make it a link? by using link instead of image?

I know I'm a couple months late, but welcome to FP stallion81

A couple things:

~If you want to post a picture that will appear in your post, you have to become a [link=Premium Member]http://fishprofiles.com/site/premium/" style="COLOR: #FF82AB[/link]. The fee is not all that much and benefits include: posting photos, choosing your own forum colors, and viewing threads and posting in the Premium Members Only forum.

~To link to a site that hosts your image, link to it like so:
[ l i n k ]http://www.whatevertheaddressis.com[ / l i n k ]
but without the spaces.
To make a link like the one above, use this format:
[ l i n k = whatever you want the link to say]http://www.whatever.com[ / l i n k ]
again without the spaces. the [ i m g ] tag only works for premium members.

~I also use Yahoo Photos as a host. In order for anyone to view a photo or album you link to, you have to make it public. You do this by clicking on the album you want to share, then clicking "Privacy Settings" (all the way to the right, under the album name). From there, select "Public", then "Save". Voila, you're done!

Thank you for your help. BTW your way late as I've been a member for over a year now, but just very lame on comps. I will prolly become a member though as I love this site. Thank you for your help as I did not hit privacy as I just hit share album. Good to know others will help with computer illiteracy.
