Jason_R_S Moderator Posts: 2811 Kudos: 2421 Votes: 391 Registered: 18-Apr-2001 | not yet...they have spawned only twice so far. the first time about half the eggs hatched, and the female moved the fry to a small pit and then deserted them. the second time the eggs were not fertilized. with a bit more practice I know they'll get things right. I've heard their real parenting skills show when they are much larger. for instance females become much better mothers at ~9" as I was told by someone on another board that used to breed these fish. she is currently ~5.5" so I may have a bit longer to wait.
