I once thought the 5.0 mp of the aforementioned camera was excessive, but now I'm seeing cybershots, which are like, half the size of mine, rated at 5.1+. Here's a favorite pic of mine: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v398/Kleevage/mauii/aq1.jpg |

An expensive fancy camera will give you additional options and better quality on colors etc. But no camera no matter how is a guarantee of good photos. That comes from knowing how to use the camera and how to compose a photo ! The fact that Keiths pics look great aren't much to do with the camera and more to do how the photos were composed and how the light was used. bensaf attached this image: Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability. |

My camera is a Nikon Coolpix 5700 5 Megapixels, 10x optical zoom, and an array of modes, presets and THE MOST IMPORTANT THING, its completly MANUAL, so you can take photos with low lighting, shots of 8 seconds long, or 1 minute... For example, you want to take a poorly lit building... You set the camera for a 8-second shot and the photo comes very well lit. For fishes, i can take good photos without flash even though my 55g only has a 30w 4' tube with reflecting canopy... (not much light). ********* Look for cameras with manual modes. You can take amazing photos when the thing can be tweaked, and the good thing about digicams is every shot doesn't cost you a thing, so you can experiment a lot. ********************* ---> www.pelican.com <--- for the camera case (if the camera is not small as a computer mouse, you should buy one of those... sold in good photos shops). GREAT i mean GREAT cases... look and function as professional cases without being too costly. The interior foam is 'almost chopped' so you can remove foam parts to fit whatever you want... sooo easy! |
