a question on dsc 0060, is that a paltoon shark, or a ID shark?

It's a paroon shark; it's the only pangasius I know of that expresses the "balloon complex". Ah the horrors of selective breeding.

Yes, that's a Blue Shark Pangasius & yes, that Snapping Turtle is quite big.

I'm amazed that someone would keep one! I read that snapping turtles can have a very strong bite--over 1000 lbs of pressure! A truly amazing creature.

i didn't think it was a ID shark, mines has the same face, but not that dorsal. great pics.

Those are fish & turtles owned by the members of the Malta Aquarist Society.
There where over 1000 fish in more than 300 tanks.
