But yes, that tank is way too small. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

And the fact that the condition that is rare in Australian and Black arowanas (which are usually wild-caught or have been bred for only a few generations). It all points to inbreeding. So how is it that a prize winning 'Tong can have perfectly aligned vision while a wild caught jard's eyes can be so low set that it's practically glancing into it's socket? Keep in mind that silvers are not known for their prize winning visages and are thusly rarely "inbred" for desirable traits. Last edited by Cup_of_Lifenoodles at 23-Aug-2005 12:50 |

ckk125 Big Fish Posts: 320 Kudos: 285 Votes: 71 Registered: 30-Jul-2005 | its not really big...i have one which is as large as that but it died...i believe that fish is 'stunted' because of the small aquarium...it takes a year and a half to reach that size if the conditions are right...ive seen a red arowana larger than that here in my country..but they are often very fat and unhealthy..its very sad that people outside asia couldnt own an asian arowana..cuz u people here would be wonderful owners of the fish instead of being used as something to bring good luck to peaple right here in malaysia...terrible...ive seen a 2 feet aro in a 2.5 feet aquarium...that guy couldnt even turn! what a waste |
