Awesome. One day maybe I'll have a setup for one. Distant future kinda thing. But cuttles rock.

cuttlefish are very awesome cephalopods. very intelligent creatures. reasearch has been done on communications as they seem to be able to communicate to one another by changing colours and using bizarre but hilarious sign language with their arms. love the pics.

Just a random thought, but you'd think someone who lives 30 minutes from the New England Aquarium and loves fish would visit it a little more. Strange creatures us humans! Great pics though! Thanks for sharing

Cuttles are so adorable! Very cool fish indeed! I wish we had a nice aquarium somewhere closer to us. Maybe it is about time to take my new camera on a trip to the zoo!

yeah I think you can keep them at home, but they need a pretty huge SW tank because they're social and they like to be kept in groups of at least 3 i believe. I think they live about 3 years? I would guess they're pretty high maint, but i dunno... probably similar to caring for octopus.

Cute cuttlefish

Where in New England is this aquarium? I'm planning a trip to NY (we'll be traveling around from there to a couple places (niagra falls, washington DC, baltimore aquarium, etc). If this place isn't too far away I will probably be able to drop by and see them

While you're at the Falls - there's a little aquarium up there, very near customs on the American side. It's small and not terrifically impressive, but they have a nice sea lion show, a shark tank, lionfish, a huge J. marlieri colony, etc. And it's not too expensive.
