I never had luck keeping a male betta in a community tank so I decided to see how a female would work out. My girls chose this pretty little one, Rosie, and she's been doing quite well with the neons, cories, BN, and RTBS in the tank.

Now that she's settled in though she's become a bit feisty and came up with a new game...

Turns out to be this guy's home that he shares with my older BN:



He's normally very nice but doesn't like company inside his house, so then the chase starts :%)

She's a quick girlie, out-swims him and sometimes I find her hiding here:

So he gives up, goes back to his cave. She waits a minute or two then starts the whole process over...silly, silly fish

I've found that the girls are bigger trouble makers than the boys in my tank too. They're the bullies, not the boys
