Looks well established. And with quite a spectrum of fishes in there. The sort of setup that we planted aquarium fans like to see more of, by the way! You'll have to add to your album some illustration pointing out the plants for those of us who have trouble squinting to see what's what! Otherwise, a commendable effort and well photographed too. I take it the SW setup is relatively new. Only the live rock looks a little bare at the moment. Of course, getting a SW setup to look the part takes a LOT longer, especially if you're planning on growing any corals in there (and your Eibli Angel will have something to say on what you can grow in there without it making a tempting meal!) but there's potential a plenty in that aquarium. If that's your first SW setup, I'd say you went out on a limb a bit risk wise popping in a Centropyge dwarf Angel, as they are not fans of high nitrates, which means you'll have your work cut out keeping nitrates low if you haven't done this before, but if you're dedicated enough to pursue this, more power to your elbow! That Watchman Goby - is that one of the Gobies that lives with burrowing shrimp in the wild? And if so, what happened to the shrimp? Just checked - yup, it's one of several Gobies that pairs up with Alpheus shrimp in the wild. If you can get a lone Alpheus shrimp, then you could see the Goby pair up with it ... though I don't know offhand if unmatched shrimp and gobies will pair up spontaneously in an aquarium. I'd track down DarkRealm Overlord and see what he has to say about that. Only that would be a nice feature to have - a symbiotic goby/shrimp pair strutting their stuff in your aquarium! I like these tanks ... |
