I bought a 5.5g, got everything up & running, and ordered a pair of [link=N. brevis]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/profiles/brevis.xm Yesterday-3.5 weeks after I received them-I was watching the tank & noticed some movement....FRY!!! They're still not strong swimmers and stay on the bottom, although when mom & dad swim up to eat they try to copy but quickly crash I haven't been able to get a good count, some may still be in the shell and the parents are comfortable enough to let those that are out explore wherever they want. dad: mom & dad: view from above-parents guarding the shell between them, and there is 1 baby in the bottom center of the picture: mom with fry-the 2 brown spots are New Life Spectrum Cichlid Pellets, which give a good idea of how small the babies are: fry: ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

No tripod for these shots, this tank is on my kitchen counter so it's at a convenient height for taking pics. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |
