Awesome album! Glad to know that there are other dog-people on the board!

Nice pictures!
My dogs used to love to play in the snow - when I still had both of them. I have a lot of old pictures taken on the few occasions it snowed here.
Pookey, the blue female chow, died in 2002 of cancer. She was sixteen when she passed (cancer). It nearly killed us to have to put her to sleep, but there was no other choice.
We still have her playmate, Sneaker Bear, the black female chow. She seems to be making medical history - currently she is 17 years and two months. She goes in for accupuncture (I highly recomend) every two weeks for her arthritus and bad knees.
I enjoy my fish, but it is nice to see people with dogs as well.

TwoTanks, I'm sorry to hear about your loss of Pookey. My family lost a German Shepherd named Sarge almost three years ago and I still ache when I think of him.

GirlieGirl, your pups are lovely. Cassie reminds me of my close friend's childhood dog.

Thank you for your condolences. Pookey was very special to us and it really hurt to have to put her to sleep. We had to get out of the house for the first few days. We took Sneaker, and went to the outerbanks for three days. It had not rained here in over five months (August 2002), but as we were arriving back in town - it poured, like the sky was crying too!
Sneaker seems to have aquired a pet mouse. It crawled over her paw and brushed pass her nose while she was sleeping - like she was used to it. I have been trying to catch it for the last three days with no luck. Perhaps she is hiding it someplace.
Sneaker has a bad tooth that may have to come out. The vet is checking into alternatives to removing it since at her age (17) it might not be such a good thing for her.
Take care. Your dogs are adorable.

DG your doggies are cute also. The brown and white one is precious. I have a thing for floppy ears. When I move out I want a bloodhound puppy.
ZoeandMaia, did you give your dogs Christmas presents? My mom got a couple toys for them and wrapped them up. She put treats in there so they would want to open them. It was so funny. They got the treat out and didn't want to open the present any more. Dogs are so silly.
