the pleco was the only one that wanted to sit still for long enough for the camera to focus. heh.

Some nice shots ....is that gravel on the plecos fins ....

and yes thats a golden chinese algae eater. My experience with them has been that they give up on the algae after a month and go for other fishes instead .

Nice pics, your pleco is gorgous! Are you aware that the pleco you have will grow to a foot long monster and need tanks of at least 75gallons IMO.

Very nice, that's a fantastic looking plec

How do you like the American flag-fish? I've seen them at a couple lfs but don't hear very much about them.

hah. no. not gravel on his fins. it's sand. i'm just in really, really close. i love that pic! heh.

ya, i have an 80 gallon, plexiglass tank with a biological filter. it is about half empty right now while i am redoing my office. once i get it all back togehter, i will redo that tank. heh. power has been off for months, and the room spends most of it's day in the dark, yet, there are a couple plants in there still living. heh.

oh, and the golden chinese algae eater.. i've had him for about a year. no problems.

I just love that tank!! I'm a fan of driftwood and sand. That second pic, the one of the plec, is incredible! So close... you can even see the texture of its skin! Some of your plants look a little bit yellow though.. but that's not important
