yeeea...in addition to all that, i'm thinking starting a 10 gallon planted aquarium that's centered around the betta i just bought...imma add fishes to the tank that bettas might be able to get along with

That 40 gallon is very colorful. Quite a few variety of fish too, and that is a beautiful betta.

Don't mean to be rude, but might i suggest filling the tank with some more water. It would provide more swimming room, and look tons nicer.

lol...thank you thank you i searched EVERYWHERE for that betta...literally everywhere...i went to all the local fish stores and the walmart, petsco, and petsmart around my house and i couldn't find a betta that i liked. i eventually found this one buy accident...i was going home after buying 3 male guppies and i felt like buying 3 female guppies to go with the 3 males so i just stopped by a random pet store along the way and wa-la! i found that betta it's fate i tell you lol jkjkjkjk

the first tank looks great nice color, a thing that i didn't like is that there wasn't a large open space for free swimming, but this may be you personal preference. i really like the colors of the beta. i think my sister has one of those, although it doesn't look as great because she neglects it.

I must say it's a nice change from all the greenery on here. I love planted tanks, but it's also refreshing to see some bright colors in tanks.

I agree. I would love to someday do a planted tank. But I'm just loving the simplicity of the fake plants and their colors. Plus my pleco can't destroy these plants.

Your new betta looks a lot like my boy Big Blue.
