Heres pics of my latest fishes. Right now they are both in a 55g. yes yes I know, I know. But I will be moving one of them to their own tank soon or just get rid of one of them. Tight now the JD is 4 inches and the flower horn is about 2 1/2, theres also a firemouth in with them, hes about just under 2 inches. Right now everybodys getting along fine. No idea how long this will last

Nice fish, if you're into "manly" fish. I don't think I've even ever seen a flower horn before? Wonder where they came up with that name?

Thanks. I need to get a better camera, this didnt really capture all of the colors in both of them.

The name? no idea. all I know is they are hybrids now and can get large and aggressive. But yes, this tank I wanted to go with something(s) that would get large. I have the community tank, I thought it was time to go with something that I like that could eat a finger if people try to play in my tanks

lol.. well I was going to do piranha tank with the 55g, but I would not have been able to put that many in. If my 150g ever fails, the rebuild of that will be piranha

Nice fish

Of all my tanks/fish the 'big guys' are my favorites...I like their personalities, the 'wet pet' thing I guess.

Speaking of Piranha, one of my LFS has a two mouthed red belly for sale. I have seen it, and it does have 2 mouths.

try taking some pics of them when they are eating and all over the rest of the tank especially up at the front, it will be better for capturing their color.

thanks, i know, the only one so far who i know is going to be leaving is the firemouth. hes to small to compete with these 2, always hiding. i'm lookin for him a home now.

These guys get a very wide variety of food. I have 3 different kinds of ciclid pellets, dried krill, flake, frozen plankton (their fav), frozen blood worms, frozen brine shrimp and now and then i throw in a dozen live glass shrimp just to give them something to do. Now that is VERY entertaining.

My other tanks, just go between flakes and the frozen blood worms and brine shrimp
