And of course a fish shopping trip wouldn't be complete for me without buying another betta. My new female is in the front, she looks teal covered with red. She already made a friend in the tank, I like how they were checking out their reflections together in this pic.

Very nice pics. I have 2 questions.

1) Do your rams pick on the loaches if you feed sinking tabs?

2) Do your 4 male rams quarrel amongst themselves a lot?
(I"m thinking of putting together a ram/loach combo)

No, not at all. The rams usually eat with the platies and actually seem timid during feeding time. My platies tend to get rather excited about food

Do your 4 male rams quarrel amongst themselves a lot?


They get into little territorial arguments, staring each other down, then kind of a pushy-move, but never anything more serious than that. It's actually interesting to watch, I really like them a lot.
