Marbled lancers are moderately priced fish. Beautiful bagrid, btw; those colors are nothing short of breathtaking.

-sneaky pete- he was $16(US) which isnt too expensive, but i try to watch my aquatic budget ya know. believe it or not this cat has been at the lfs for just over 2 MONTHS!! i kept tellin myself,"when i get the spare money, im buyin that darn catfish" and low n behold i happened to have some money to spare this past weekend. his colors are very wicked not only that but the sharpness of his patterning, where the white ends and the rust brown begins, it ridiculous how perfect this lil bugger is. as u can tell im very happy with him. and the pearl of likoma cichlid, ive seen pics of adult specimens n they are very beautiful. they lose the orange patterns but the blue takes over the entire body n changes to a purplish. they are making excellent additions to my tank.
55g. inhabitants
1 - starry night cichlid(paratilapia polleni)
1 - senegalus bichir(polypterus senegalus)
1 - yellow lab(labidochromis caeruleus)
1 - pearl of likoma cichlid(melanochromis joanjohnsonae)
1 - marbled lancer cat(bagroides melapterus)
1 - common pleco(hypostomus punctatus)
