TIGER9 Enthusiast Posts: 237 Kudos: 174 Votes: 1 Registered: 06-Feb-2003 | i bought them when they were about an inch long. they cost me about $5 each. now theyre just 6in. n worth $20-$25 each. right now they are in a 55g. but im wanting to move them into something bigger, so i can add a couple more to the shoal, say 2-3 caribe piranha. |

Brybenn Mega Fish Posts: 1217 Kudos: 1173 Votes: 1 Registered: 02-Mar-2003 | red belly piranhas dont eat flake (some do its not a stable diet) for the first 6 months of there lives they gorw almost an inch a month if kept proply n fed a decent deit high in protien after that the growth slows down to bout 1" a year my largest rbp is 5.5" last november when i got him he was 1/4" long soin 10 months he grew 5 1/4" there beautiful n agile fish great in a shoal |
