hes about 2n1/2 in. i think they max at 4-5in.

why yes it is, thats Syn, my synodontis eupterus cat. awesome lil catfish always in the thick of things, damn good clean up crew as well.

Nice looking fish! Especially the puffer. I've never kept them, and I've only seen them once in a pet store.

TIGER9, I have a Syn-Eupterus Catfish also. I brought by a mistake from LFS. It was surposed to be a Syn-nigriventris, but it grew too big. Great fish. My hubby reckons it looks like a cockroach. Lately though I have found some 1/2 eaten fish (mainly mollys that haven't grown) and I think its the catfish that is doing the culling. Well its one way for nature to take care of things, but if it is the catfish, then I wish he ate the whole fish and not leave 1/2 for me to clean it up. Better still, not eat any at all would be even better. By BN was good freinds with this catfish, but when he outgrew the BN, the BN is a bit intimated by it and my Golden CAE is frighten of it.
