Ashley those are beautiful bettas, I'm especially fond of the opaque and pastel ones.

ontariobetta, I agree, they are stunning. Makes me what to take Betta's up again. But you don't get to see that type of Betta here at the lfs, unless you want to order them in from a breeder.

Yup thier all mine. I get them thru my amazing ability to spend money lol

Sprike with his bubby, male molly Murray. Who when Sprike died went around slapping his tail on the surface of the water. I later transferred him into a tank full of female mollys. He is happy again.

This is Sharky, his colours were light brown body with yellow and blue lines around the edge of his tail and fins.

how do u get them to pose?

My pictures were taken while the bettas were in their tanks. Nothing special, I just take lots & lots of shots which is one of the benefits of a digital camera.

How do you get these bettas of such quality?

Two of my males are from PetSmart, my CT and three others from my favorite lfs, my young female DT is from an auction at my aquarium society's monthly meeting, and one female is from Aquariumfish.net (just added her onto an order I was placing since shipping costs are the same regardless of the number of fish ordered).

how is it that you house several females together?
