	Another Anubia question.
jasonpisani Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 5553 Kudos: 7215 Votes: 1024 Registered: 24-Feb-2003	I have some Anubias in my tank & some leaves are yellow. I wish to cut them, so the new ones will take all the nutrition. My question is, from where should i cut the bad Leaves?. Can anybody explain to me?. LITTLE_FISH *** Little Fish *** Master of Something Posts: 7303 Kudos: 1997 Votes: 670 Registered: 20-May-2005	Jason, I would cut them as far down as possible (I guess you are talking either Nana or Barteri) but without cutting into the rhizome. NowherMan6 Fish Master Posts: 1880 Kudos: 922 Votes: 69 Registered: 21-Jun-2004	Anubias leaves grow in an almost layered way off the rhizome, I would try to cut as far down as possible, and even pull the remaining little stem off the rhizome itself, otherwise it'll start to rot. *Back in the saddle!*

jasonpisani Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 5553 Kudos: 7215 Votes: 1024 Registered: 24-Feb-2003	I don't know why the leaves are yellowish, but there are some that had hair Algae on them & turned yellow by time. I used to keep the light's on for 12/14 hours, but now i am keeping them for 8/10 hours daily. The new Leaves are fine & really green & yes, the Anubias are Nana.
