Just wondering what size Anubias Nana plant growth would top out at. It is getting too big for my 55. The plant is huge and is flowering and what not. Any experince on size range would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The only way A. nana could take over a 55 gallon tank is horizontally. It's a small bushy plant with smooth heart-shaped leaves that won't get taller than 5-6 inches. Other anubias' get quite tall, so I think you got a plant that was labeled wrong.

Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean...

I agree,

Is there any way you can provide a pic of your plant?

Could be an Anubias Barteri v. Barteri rather then Anubias Barteri v. Nana, they do get seriously huge and tend to grow upwards like a tree. Take a few to out grow a 55 though, how long have you had it?

Ok great, thanks for the help. I have had the plant for about 2 years. I believe that it must have been labled wrong. I will try to get some pics in a few hours. I got it when it was small, but it has grown quickly, and has had several fragments that i have cut that are getting bigger.

Thanks, will try to get pics
