I have three tanks,

35G - mixed substrate, sand and gravel only grows Crypts
12G hex - gravel grows Anubias beautifully and Crypts
15G - gravel but plant DISASTER. the anubias has bascially rotted any way, I have left it floating around for now.

I know why plants don't grow in the 35G - wrong substrate, but what could be up with the 15G?

It hasn't been set up that long maybe 6 weeks? the gravel was part new and part lifted from the 12G.

I cycled the tank and the Crypt is doing ok.

so is it a bad batch of anubias or what?

cheers
GFG

Hi GFG,
You are going to have to give us some more information.
For each tank:
type/size/quantity fish, pH, KH, flourscent bulb? what
wattage?

And of course the big Anubias question: are you burying the rhizomes?
